Organisations
When you register on Control Plane, you will automatically have a personal Organisation created for you.
You can invite other people to join your Organisation and assign them roles based on what they should be allowed to do or see.
Members can develop and launch training jobs for an organisation. They can also view billing information.
Finance users have elevated permissions on Control Plane to adjust the spending limits per experiment, user, or organisation. Not currently implemented.
Admins (administrators) of the organisation can invite others to the organisation and set permissions for users.
Open the Organisation: menu at the top-right of the page and click on -> View Organisations. From the this page, you can view and manage the Organisations you belong to, create new Organisations, and invite members to join Organisations where you have necessary permissions within those Organisations.
Content displayed to you such as Experiments and Billing will be specific to each Organisation you belong to. To view this content for a different Organisation, select that Organisation from the Organisation: menu at the top-right of Control Plane, or click "View" next to that organisation on the Organisations page.
Super Organisations
Super Organisations exist to assist collections of Organisations to manage a pool of shared credits. Organisations can belong to one Super Organisation, or to none. Each Super Organisation has one member Organisation which is the Admin Organisation for that Super Organisation.
Any member of the Admin Organisation for the Super Organisation can act as an admin for any other member Organisation of the Super Organisation, and can also credit or deduct credits from member Organisations.
Super Organisations are currently only configurable by Strong Compute. If you would like to set up a Super Organisation, please contact Strong Compute.
